About The Position
Calyx Living is hiring a Memory Care Concierge for its new assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex. The role provides a welcoming, consistent presence at the Memory Care reception and also assists residents with care. The reception is staffed daily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The employee will cross-train to perform Personal Care Aide duties, helping residents with personal care, participation in daily activities, and activities of daily living.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older and demonstrate maturity.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Compassion and a desire to work with seniors.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
- Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
- Reliability, responsiveness, and attentiveness.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiver experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a welcoming, consistent presence at the Memory Care reception.
- Assist residents with personal care needs.
- Help ensure residents participate in daily activities.
- Assist residents with general activities of daily living.
