About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for a Part-Time position at The Boulevard Senior Living St. Peters. This role focuses on creating human connection with residents, understanding their interests and abilities, and setting the stage for a successful day through environmental preparation. The Memory Care Support Partner will assist residents with daily life activities, document care, and help orient new team members. The company emphasizes an empathetic and patient approach, valuing the quality of life for both residents and team members. Arrow Senior Living manages 34 properties across 6 states and employs nearly 2,200 individuals, offering various levels of care including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
- Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
- Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms to setting up activity spaces and preparing resident rooms for nighttime routines.
- Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
- Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
- Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
