About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part Time Memory Care Support Partner, also known as a Weekend Warrior, to join our team at The Boulevard Wentzville. This role is crucial in creating a positive and supportive environment for residents in our memory care neighborhood. You will be responsible for fostering human connection, understanding resident needs, and managing the daily experience of residents. This includes preparing dining areas, organizing spaces for events, and assisting residents with their routines. Accurate documentation of resident care and changes in condition is also a key responsibility, as is assisting with the orientation of new team members in the memory care unit.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Be an Advocate of Empathy: Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Be a Patient Observer: Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident unique. Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Be a Master of the Mise en Scène: Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, organizing spaces for events, and preparing resident rooms for nighttime routines.
Be a Life Partner: Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
