Memory Care Aide $18-26.25 3p-11p (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at The Boulevard Senior Living St. Peters. This part-time role focuses on creating human connection with residents, understanding their interests and abilities, and setting the stage for their daily experiences. The position involves documenting resident care, assisting with team member orientation, and partnering with residents throughout their day. Arrow Senior Living manages a collection of senior living communities offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care across 34 properties in 6 states, employing nearly 2,200 individuals.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
- Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
- Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms to setting up activity spaces and preparing resident rooms.
- Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
- Document resident care and changes in condition.
- Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
