The Membership Support Specialist is a customer-focused role that serves as one of the first points of contact for Girl Scouts of Alaska members, volunteers, families, and community partners. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience by providing exceptional service through phone, email, chat, and in-person interactions. Whether helping a new family join Girl Scouts, troubleshooting registration issues, assisting customers in the council store, or answering questions about programs and events, this role helps ensure every customer receives timely, accurate, and friendly support. In addition to customer service, the Membership Support Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of the organization by maintaining accurate membership data, coordinating facility rentals, assisting with retail operations, and collaborating with departments across the council. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
