About The Position

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is dedicated to transforming the health care experience and providing access to world-class health care in America’s heartland. This role oversees new member entry into existing wellness programming, ensuring new members are qualified by their levels of exercise experience and health conditions to be placed in the most appropriate entry program.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required.
  • Minimum three year’s applicable work experience required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire or obtained with 30 days of hire.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain membership contracts including new membership development and reviewing existing memberships for compliance audits.
  • Complete and actively participate in weekly staff meetings regarding ongoing consumer-centered programming.
  • Conduct outside business contact for the purpose of marketing memberships and wellness programming.
  • Promote the Wellness Center, in partnership with Sanford Marketing, through various channels such as social media, external partners, internal leaders, and departments including HR and Sanford Health Plan.
  • Complete audits of membership contracts and billing information, including recovering monthly credit card declines and revenue misses.
  • Demonstrate detailed computer knowledge with the ability to decipher account information and billing information regarding member accounts.
  • Demonstrate professional interaction and courteous contact with customers.
  • Handle phone inquiries at once.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills with both internal teams and clients of the facility.
  • Possess knowledge of all facility programs and services with special emphasis and knowledge of any new initiative programs.
  • Demonstrate skill in sales closing techniques.
  • Exhibit ability to provide professional letter writing techniques and skill in the development of proposals.
  • Work with worker's compensation and insurance carriers.
  • Perform mathematical calculations quickly with accuracy.
  • Utilize effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Establish and negotiate fees with new corporate accounts.
