About The Position

FitLab, in partnership with Racked Studios, is launching a new group fitness experience. The Membership & Sales Specialists will be responsible for providing an exceptional service experience to First Time Visitors (FTVs) and members, with a focus on revenue generation and membership sales. Team members need to understand the FitLab value proposition, membership packages, studio sales processes, and the first-time visitor onboarding process. Adherence to FitLab Handbook and Ops Training Manual standards is expected.

Requirements

  • Membership and sales experience in boutique fitness or adjacent industries (1+ years preferred but not required).
  • Ability to foster, support, and value workplace diversity, equality, and inclusion.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 4-5 shifts per week.
  • Ability to have fun on the job while maintaining a high work ethic.
  • Must be at least 18 years or older.
  • Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including weekends, special events, early mornings, late evenings, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be a problem solver with a proven track record of complaint resolution.
  • Strong community outreach skills.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute.
  • Clubready or Marian Tek experience.

Responsibilities

  • Selling memberships and promo offers, including lead qualification and determining client buying criteria.
  • General studio operations and management during shifts.
  • Creating an engaging and welcoming environment, customer engagement, and hospitality.
  • Actively working sales leads through texting/email and class booking.
  • Ensuring individuals are checked into the appropriate class(es) and adhering to company guidelines for cancellations, waitlists, and partnerships (ClassPass, Gympass, Groupon).
  • Promoting and educating FTV customers about class offerings and participation requirements.
  • Staying current on all promotions/campaigns and communicating features and benefits to members.
  • Executing daily studio operations, including answering phones, responding to voicemails, greeting and checking in guests, member enrollment, laundry, locker lockouts, maintaining a clean and organized reception area, restocking bathrooms, maintaining consumable inventory levels, collecting payments, waiver processing, and member photos.
  • Performing other job-related projects/duties as assigned.
