Requirements

  • Natural salesperson with strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Outgoing, polished, and highly social personality
  • Passion for hospitality, luxury experiences, and community-building
  • Ability to confidently sell an exclusive lifestyle and membership experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • 2–4 years of experience in hospitality, sales, or membership programs
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Communication: strong communication skills verbal and written
  • Experience with CRM and/or billing management systems
  • Soft Skills: high emotional intelligence, comfortable speaking to executives, and an outgoing personality.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-tasking
  • Strong computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality, membership sales, luxury retail, events, or client relations preferred
  • Passion for guest service and high experiences preferred
  • Experience in high-end hospitality, boutique hotels, or private clubs

Responsibilities

  • Drive Membership Growth: Actively grow the club by building relationships, generating excitement around the membership experience, and converting interest into enrollment. Success in this role comes from your ability to sell the vibe, the history, the amenities, and the sense of belonging that makes The Cottonwood special.
  • Be the Face of the Club: Create a warm, elevated, and highly visible member experience. You’ll build authentic relationships with members, anticipate needs, and ensure every interaction reflects the exclusivity and energy of the club.
  • Create Buzz & Community: Develop engaging monthly activations and social experiences alongside Marketing, Culinary, and Banquets teams that keep members connected, excited, and engaged.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with local businesses, restaurants, retailers, and community partners to enhance the value and prestige of the membership program.
  • Own the Member Experience: Deliver luxury-level concierge service by assisting with dining reservations, hotel stays, and personalized member requests while ensuring members feel recognized and valued at every touchpoint.
  • Lead Operational Excellence: Manage the club CRM, member billing, dues, and reporting while tracking KPIs including membership growth, engagement, retention, and member spend.
  • Champion the Brand Internally: Train and inspire front-line teams across the hotel to deliver seamless member recognition and elevated service experiences.
  • Keep Members Connected: Create and distribute compelling monthly communications and newsletters that highlight upcoming experiences, club happenings, and exclusive opportunities.
