Altea Active’s ideal Membership Coordinator flourishes in a sales environment and is zealous about promoting fitness, health, and wellness within the community. You thrive on generating membership sales into the state-of-the-art facility. You have a consistent desire to destroy monthly sales targets, and obliterate annual revenue goals. You’ve got a healthy appetite for competition and are always striving to win. You’re also tenacious. Not every customer is going to be a sale. Being able to bounce back if you lose a sale will be key for this job. Requirements

  • Post-secondary education ideally relating to the health and fitness industry
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a sales role
  • A recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work
  • Open availability required

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certifications or workshops relating to sales, marketing and administration are preferred
  • Sales experience in the health and fitness industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Consistently reviewing daily/weekly/monthly sales targets
  • As an individual and as a team, creatively game planning ways to achieve sales goals
  • Conducting presentations and tours of the state-of-the-art facility, presenting and offering opportunities for up-sells and add-ons
  • Educating new and current members on membership benefits to maximize service usage
  • Updating and maintaining accurate sales records in customer relations management software
