About The Position

The Sonoma County Family YMCA is seeking a service-driven Membership Coordinator to help lead their frontline membership experience. This role is key in building strong relationships, supporting staff, and ensuring every member and guest feels valued and connected. Requirements

  • 3+ years of customer service or supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, outgoing, and inclusive approach to service
  • Proficiency with computers and data systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Support, train, and guide Membership staff and Welcome Center Attendants
  • Help manage schedules and day-to-day operations
  • Coordinate financial assistance programs and scholarship awards
  • Foster membership growth and retention through relationship-building
  • Oversee accurate data entry and membership records
  • Support events, promotions, and community partnerships
  • Respond to member needs and assist in resolving concerns
  • Step in to provide leadership in the absence of the Membership Director
