The role is a cross-functional individual contributor who serves as a connective layer across the Business & Strategy team at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives & Proposal, this person keeps work moving across two key areas: proposal management and membership. They are organized, relationship-oriented, and experienced enough to operate with considerable independence in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift, including during high-activity proposal seasons. Success in this role requires resilience and a genuine team-player orientation. Proposal seasons can be intense, and this person will need the energy and flexibility to go all in when the work demands it. Across both proposal management and membership, this role involves communicating with and reporting to senior leadership; synthesizing activity, tracking numbers, and helping the team present its work clearly. The expectation is not deep analytics expertise, but a practiced comfort with data and a drive to surface what matters. This is a strong fit for an experienced professional, who brings a track record of juggling competing priorities across a cross-functional environment, communicating effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels, and following through without needing close direction. While this position can be done remotely from anywhere in the U.S., candidates must primarily accommodate Eastern business hours.
