The Member Services Specialist will embody the Credit Union’s core values of Trust, Integrity, Teamwork and Making a Difference. This role involves using consultative selling techniques to analyze and provide solutions for members' financial needs, making sales referrals, and proactively calling members about financial services solutions. The specialist will open new membership and business accounts, perform account modifications, and conduct paying and receiving transactions. Additionally, they will represent the credit union at community events and be available to local businesses. A strong knowledge of consumer and small business deposit accounts, including compliance and regulatory requirements, as well as consumer lending products (including home equity) and credit report interpretation, is essential. The role requires presenting a professional image, working well under pressure, meeting deadlines, and completing other responsibilities as assigned. Compliance with applicable laws and regulations is mandatory.
