Integris, a Division of Coastal Community Credit Union, is looking for an individual to work as a Member Service Representative (MSR) on a permanent, full-time basis at our Quesnel branch, BC. Member Service Representatives (MSRs) at Integris play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our members. Requirements
- Basic understanding of financial transactions and customer service.
- Ability to clearly and effectively interact with members.
- Efficiently manage transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Proven ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Accuracy in handling financial transactions and member information.
Nice To Haves
- Experience resolving challenging customer inquiries and transactions in a financial institution is an asset.
- Enhanced understanding of estates, business accounts, and RRSP products is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate basic transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, cheque orders, foreign currency, and wire transfers.
- Complete daily balancing of money orders, cheques, bills, credit card transactions, and foreign exchange.
- Open simple sub-accounts, respond to general inquiries, update member information, and handle basic account maintenance and closures.
- Build member relationships, achieve referral goals, encourage the use of new products, and provide information on credit union services.
- Assist with branch administrative tasks, balance the ATM, and help maintain branch appearance.
