About The Position

Integris Insurance Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Coastal Community Credit Union, is seeking a permanent, full-time Insurance Representative 1 for their Quesnel Branch. This front-line, member-facing role will primarily focus on ICBC Autoplan services. Responsibilities include processing ICBC transactions, assisting members with vehicle insurance needs, handling policy renewals and changes, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, detail-oriented, adept at multitasking, and skilled in prioritizing tasks effectively. Requirements

  • Level 1 License and Completion of Autoplan Essentials course within 6 months of hire is required
  • Experience in Auto insurance is preferred but not mandatory
  • Willingness to obtain insurance licensing and pursue a career as an insurance professional

Nice To Haves

  • CAIB 1 or Fundamentals of Insurance preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist members and the public in identifying insurance needs and respond to inquiries about products and services
  • Process basic auto insurance transactions under supervision and handle payments
  • Investigate and resolve account issues and refer complex matters as needed
  • Balance daily cash and schedule appointments for staff
  • Support auto insurance products, including accident benefits and coverage options
  • Process licensing transactions such as registrations and ownership transfers
  • Assist with ICBC batching and personal lines policies, including renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and changes
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products
  • Cross-sell additional products and promote credit union services
  • Provide referrals to team members when needed
  • Meet established sales and referral goals
  • Post payments and assist with deposits
  • Maintain records, files, and inventory (e.g., license plates and materials)
  • Order supplies as needed and support branch organization and appearance
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Other duties as assigned
