The Member Services Representative is responsible for performing duties to the best of their abilities during their assigned work shift. This role involves maintaining club cleanliness and atmosphere, staying proficient with the Planet Fitness mobile app, and ensuring all proper training is completed for safe and efficient operation. The representative will conduct regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and meets Excel standards, perform club walkarounds with associated cleaning tasks, and audit/balance cash drawers daily. They will also be responsible for inputting and updating member information, ensuring members adhere to company policies, and providing a safe and secure environment. Excellent communication and member service skills are essential, as is stocking retail and janitorial items. The role requires understanding and adhering to company standards, resolving member issues, auditing club inventory, and staying up-to-date on certifications and training. Participation in team meetings and assisting with club promotions, tours, and operational strategies are also key. Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and insurance requirements, and operating/assisting members with club amenities are part of the responsibilities. Additionally, the representative may assist with community events and outreach activities.
