About The Position

The Member Services Manager at The District Credit Union leads and supports member services teams across multiple locations, ensuring an outstanding experience for every member interaction. This role is key in driving deposit and loan growth, coaching employees, and fostering a culture aligned with the credit union's mission, vision, and values. It's a hands-on leadership position that combines people development, operational oversight, and lending expertise to strengthen both team performance and member relationships.

Requirements

2–5 years of leadership experience in a bank or credit union
Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
Strong knowledge of consumer lending and deposit operations
Solid understanding of regulatory compliance (Regs B, D, E, Z, CC, DD)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop tellers, contact center representatives, and member service representatives
Drive branch performance through deposit growth, loan production, and new member acquisition
Support lending operations, including underwriting consumer loans within authority
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies
Monitor and improve audit performance, operational controls, and risk management
Foster a strong, service-focused culture aligned with organizational values
Partner with leadership on marketing initiatives, growth strategies, and community engagement
Conduct team meetings, one-on-ones, and performance evaluations to support staff success
