About The Position

The Part Time Member Service Teller works at the West Milwaukee branch of Summit Credit Union, serving as a front-line point of contact for members. The role involves answering questions face-to-face, solving problems, completing financial transactions accurately, and creating positive member experiences. The teller supports members through meaningful conversations, refers them to appropriate teammates when additional services may help them meet their goals, and helps keep branch operations running smoothly. The position contributes to long-term member relationships grounded in care, respect, and reliability. The role is performed in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Saturday hours are required. The position requires continuously standing, walking, sitting, and using hands and fingers; occasionally, the employee must reach above or below shoulder level and lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds. Equipment includes a computer terminal/PC, calculator, printer/copiers, and telephone.

Requirements

At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Sound judgment and ability to solve problems within established guidelines.
Attention to detail and comfort with basic math.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
