About The Position
Summit Credit Union is seeking a people-first Member Service Teller to serve as the friendly face of its VA branch and support a positive member experience. The role involves engaging with members, handling financial transactions, identifying member needs, connecting members with appropriate teammates, and educating members about products and services that can help them manage money. The teller also supports smooth branch operations through accuracy and timeliness. This position involves working in a dynamic, member-facing environment and being on your feet. Saturday hours are required. The work is performed in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting.
Requirements
- At least one year of customer service or sales experience.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office.
- Basic math skills.
- Attention to accuracy and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
