Member Service Representative (Full-Time) - Capitol Heights
About The Position
Provide members and prospective members with the full range of Navy Federal Credit Union products and services, including deposit accounts, lending products, and credit and debit cards. Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision while developing confidence and independence in the role. The position is based at the Capitol Heights branch and may require working at or permanently transferring to neighboring branches within a reasonable commuting distance based on business needs. Hours are available Monday through Saturday, based on business needs.

Responsibilities
- Provide basic counseling on available products and services to meet member needs.
- Assist members with opening and maintaining deposit accounts, loans, and other financial products.
- Research and resolve basic account discrepancies and service requests.
- Identify opportunities to cross-service products and enhance member relationships through education.
- Understand and comply with relevant federal and institutional regulations related to financial products and services.
- Support team members by sharing knowledge and best practices as experience grows.
- Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly and securely.
- Process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
