About The Position

Provide members and prospective members with the full range of Navy Federal Credit Union products and services, including depository accounts, lending products, and credit and debit cards. Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision while developing confidence and independence in the role. The position is part-time and typically involves 20–25+ hours per week. Hours are available Monday through Saturday based on business needs, and longer hours are required during training. The role is based at 1821 Fountain Dr, Reston, Virginia 20190. Based on business needs, the employee may be required to work at or permanently transfer to neighboring branches within a reasonable commuting distance. The position is eligible for the TalentQuest employee referral program.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic counseling on available products and services to meet member needs.
• Assist members with opening and maintaining deposit accounts, loans, and other financial products.
• Research and resolve basic account discrepancies and service requests.
• Identify opportunities to cross-service products and enhance member relationships through education.
• Understand and comply with relevant federal and institutional regulations related to financial products and services.
• Support team members by sharing knowledge and best practices as experience grows.
• Handle cash and other negotiable instruments properly and securely.
• Process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
