About The Position

The Member Service Representative provides maximum service to member-consumers by delivering efficient and courteous service in the transaction of business at Southern Pine Electric. The position greets visitors, responds to requests or directs them to the appropriate functional authority, and processes payments and other transactions through several channels. The representative maintains accurate transaction records for further processing and may resolve conflicts or arrange payments. The role also requires maintaining a neat work area and a professional appearance. Responsibilities may be expanded to include other duties deemed necessary by Management or Staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet people entering the building and provide prompt, courteous service by responding to requests or directing them to the proper functional authority.
• Receive and process payments and transactions conducted at the service window, by telephone, mail, or night depository.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and prepare them for further processing by billing or accounting department employees.
• Resolve conflicts and make payment arrangements, as needed.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Maintain an acceptable personal appearance to project a professional image and enhance public relations.
• Perform other duties deemed necessary by Management or Staff.
