About The Position

HFCU is looking for an outgoing personality to assist members and guest members with their financial transactions. This individual will assist the Teller Supervisor in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• One year to two years of similar or related experience.
• A high school diploma or GED required.
• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements to this job.
• Work involves personal contact with others inside and outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
• Must be computer literate with excellent communication skills.
• Must be accurate with numbers and names.

• Ensure drawer is balanced daily.
• Assist members and guests in all functions in accordance with established procedures.
• Strive for posting accuracy, and to provide administrative support as assigned.
• Help maintain cohesive staff sufficiently to meet daily department needs.
• Provide informed and professional assistance to all members and associates.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments.
• Act as vault teller as needed.
• Sells money orders, gift cards, and processes cash advances for members and guest members.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer daily.
• Helps schedule and monitor daily teller activity.
• Help train new employees and monitor performance.
• Ensure department is providing friendly, professional, personal service to all members.
