Member Service Representative/Personal Banker
About The Position

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 18 months of relevant experience in the financial industry or in customer service.
- Previous banking or financial services experience.
- Desire to provide outstanding member service.
- Ability to discuss products and services.
- Professional appearance and an enthusiastic, assertive personality.
- Self-motivation.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of negotiable instruments.
- Dependability, including arriving at work on time as scheduled.
Responsibilities
- Deal directly with members and potential members.
- Support and promote a successful service and sales culture by identifying membership needs and cross-selling appropriate products.
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately, including loan payments and transfers of funds.
- Research and resolve member concerns.
- Record information sufficiently and accurately.
- Use the provided software system efficiently to perform member transactions.
- Engage with members to obtain information and explain available services that meet their financial needs.
