About The Position

The YMCA is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our Membership Team! As a part of this dynamic team, you’ll be at the heart of creating welcoming, inclusive environments for individuals and families to connect, grow, and thrive. The Caylor-Nickel Foundation Family YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and attentive part-time Member Services Representative to join our team by becoming an ambassador of the YMCA who delivers a high standard of service that is efficient, effective, and member-focused at all times to our diverse community.

Requirements

• Committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne.
• At least 16 years old.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Demonstrates effective communication and customer service skills.
• Welcoming and inclusive, supporting a diverse membership.
• Attentive to details, organized, able to handle money effectively, and proficient at other clerical and computer skills.
• Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.

Responsibilities

• Build effective, authentic relationships with members.
• Maintain member satisfaction and communication needs in a personal yet professional manner and respond to emergency situations in the branch as needed.
• Keep membership records accurate, up-to-date, secure, and confidential while working towards consistent growth in new memberships and member retention levels.
