The YMCA is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our Membership Team! As a part of this dynamic team, you’ll be at the heart of creating welcoming, inclusive environments for individuals and families to connect, grow, and thrive. The Jorgensen Family YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and attentive part-time Membership Services Representative to join our team by becoming an ambassador of the YMCA who delivers a high standard of service that is efficient, effective, and member-focused at all times to our diverse community.

Requirements

Committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne.
At least 16 years old.
If 18 or older, must have at least a high school diploma, GED, or the equivalent.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Demonstrates effective communication and customer service skills.
Dependable, reliable, self-motivated, and able to handle stress well.
Attentive to details, organized, and proficient at other clerical and computer skills.
Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.

Responsibilities

Build effective, authentic relationships with members.
Maintain member satisfaction and communication needs personally yet professionally.
Provide friendly service to members on the phone and in the facility.
