About The Position

Support members through the loan and account process by interviewing applicants, processing loan requests, and providing accurate financial information. Ensure members receive efficient, service‑oriented assistance for their everyday credit union needs while acting as a liaison between the member and the Credit Union. Contribute to overall member satisfaction by delivering reliable, knowledgeable service across all channels.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two–year College or technical school; and one year of lending experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Excel with the ability to work efficiently with spreadsheets and data
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to workload and responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Process loan applications and guides members through the lending cycle from inquiry to closing
  • Provide accurate product information to support member decisions on loans and credit union services
  • Achieve sales and penetration goals for loan products and related services
  • Ensure compliance with lending policies, account‑opening requirements, and member‑verification standards
  • Maintain strong product knowledge across all credit union offerings to enable effective cross‑selling and referrals
  • Deliver high‑quality member service across phone, digital, and in‑person channels
  • Strengthen member relationships by using CRM tools to manage leads, track goals, and identify next‑best‑product opportunities
  • Support operational continuity by being available during closures or inclement‑weather situations
  • Process wire transfer requests sent in through various channels. Verify wire information accuracy along with ensuring member security. Conduct LexisNexis verifications when needed to verify the identity of a caller.
