American Conservation Experience (ACE) is a non-profit organization focused on environmental service opportunities. ACE provides training and support for crews to complete conservation projects on public lands in partnership with various land management agencies. The Eastern Division specifically utilizes young adult volunteer AmeriCorps crews for conservation projects east of the Mississippi River and in the US Caribbean territories, emphasizing professional development and skill-building for crew members. The Member Manager (MM) is an office-based role that supports the growth, learning, and development of volunteer corps members in the Eastern Division Crew Program. This role is responsible for the recruitment and selection of corps members and serves as the primary contact for members before, during, and after their service terms. The MM's responsibilities fluctuate seasonally, with periods focused on recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding. The position requires a professional demeanor, adaptability, and enthusiasm, acting as an ambassador for ACE's program. The MM will interact with staff across ACE divisions, outside organizations, and the public, and may occasionally visit field operation locations.
