Member Experience Specialist
About The Position
Sparkle Grooming Co. is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused front desk team member to join our SanTan Village dog grooming salon. As the first and last point of contact for our clients, you’ll play a critical role in creating an exceptional Sparkle experience—welcoming pet parents, managing appointments, and driving membership growth. This role is ideal for someone who loves people and pets, thrives in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and confident in recommending services and memberships that improve the lives of pets and their owners. A strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and passion for customer service and pets are essential. This position offers an opportunity to grow into expanded operational or leadership roles within Sparkle as we open more locations in Arizona and nation-wide.
Requirements
- Ability to work comfortably with dogs is a must
- Sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Experience working in a membership-based or service-driven environment a plus
- Experience in a grooming salon environment is a plus
- Comfort discussing pricing, promotions, and packages
- Experience with sheduling and/or POS systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in clients, creating a warm, professional, and welcoming experience
- Educate pet parents on Sparkle services and membership options
- Drive membership conversions through confident, solution-based conversations
- Manage appointment scheduling, check-out, and payment processing
- Support daily salon operations, including phone calls, confirmations, and follow-ups
- Maintain a clean, organized, and polished front desk and lobby area
- Assist the salon's service team with salon cleaning and sanitization
- Partner with groomers, bathers, and salon leadership to ensure smooth service flow
- Resolve basic client questions or concerns with empathy and professionalism
