About The Position

The Member Engagement Coordinator supports the planning, organization, and execution of membership engagement initiatives that provide long-term value for CRNAs, Residents, and RNs across all career stages, practice settings, and membership categories. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Member Engagement, this role collaborates with volunteers and cross-functional teams to implement member-centered programs, coordinate engagement activities, and support data-driven decisions that advance organizational priorities. This is a supportive and dynamic team that’s building and evolving member-focused programs. Requirements

  • 2-4 years' experience supporting member-focused programs, engagement initiatives, or administrative program coordination
  • Supporting multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously with overlapping timelines
  • Working in an association, nonprofit, healthcare, or membership-based organization
  • Providing administrative support to committees, volunteers, or workgroups
  • Supporting member engagement initiatives, outreach efforts, or program communications
  • Supporting or coordinating in-person and virtual events, meetings, or member activities.
  • Tracking participation data, maintaining records, or supporting basic reporting and metrics.
  • Supporting customer or member onboarding processes, documentation, scheduling, or stakeholder coordination
  • Responding to member or customer inquiries and provided customer service support
  • Organizing and managing time with a high level of attention to detail
  • Managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Collaborating effectively in teams with cross-functional staff and volunteers
  • Taking initiative and demonstrating reliability in supporting programs, projects, and administrative processes
  • Communicating clearly and professionally in writing and verbally for member outreach, routine inquiries, and program coordination
  • Responding to member needs with a strong customer service mindset, and escalating issues when appropriate
  • Navigating multiple systems and tools, including CRM platforms, project management systems, and collaboration tools
  • Coordinating projects by scheduling, tracking tasks, and maintaining timelines and documentation
  • Supporting committees and volunteer groups through meeting coordination, follow-up, and clear communication
  • Maintaining accurate data by tracking participation metrics, maintaining records, and supporting reporting needs
  • Solving problems and adapting in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for member engagement programs and initiatives, including but not limited to member onboarding, Bridge and Early Career Programs, Peer Pathways, RN-APRN Mock Interviews, RN Conversation Circles, First-Timer initiatives, and the AANA Network online communities.
  • Coordinate logistics, scheduling, materials, and communications for engagement programs and AANA events, including but not limited to EDGE, Mid-Year Assembly, and Annual Congress.
  • Support program evaluation and continuous improvement efforts through data collection, participant feedback, and documentation of outcomes and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate nurse anesthesia program director and faculty contact information and support school program data management within CRM systems.
  • Track and report on membership engagement, program participation, and onboarding metrics to support data-informed decisions.
  • Maintain reliable tracking tools, dashboards, and documentation to monitor volunteer outreach, engagement activities, and program performance.
  • Support routine reporting and ensure accurate documentation of engagement activities and outcomes.
  • Respond to routine member inquiries related to mentorship, online communities, and program participation (Tier 2 tickets), escalating complex issues as appropriate.
  • Provide administrative support for the Membership Committee and related workgroups, including scheduling, agenda and materials preparation, meeting documentation, and follow-up tracking.
  • Support communication and coordination between committee members, volunteer leaders, and internal teams to ensure progress on committee initiatives and Content Collab efforts.
  • Maintain committee records, action items, and deliverables to ensure timely execution and alignment with organizational priorities.
