About The Position

Our client, a well-respected financial institution in the Sacramento area, is seeking a Member Care Representative. This role is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven professional with strong data entry skills and experience within a banking or financial institution. The Member Care Representative will support account adjustments, reconciliations, and financial accuracy across multiple loan and deposit products. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while maintaining compliance with company guidelines. Requirements

  • 2+ years of account research experience within a financial institution.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance and reconcile accounts.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; able to work professionally with members and internal teams.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Proficiency with 10-key, financial calculators, and standard office systems.
  • High school diploma required.

Nice To Haves

  • AA in Accounting or related training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform account adjustments and credits.
  • Analyze accounts and maintain accurate reconciliations.
  • Research and clear variances across multiple account types.
  • Support audits and reconciliations.
  • Review delinquent accounts (150–180 days past due) and process write-offs for small balances.
  • Reconcile daily teller work and verify accurate processing of journal vouchers and data changes.
  • Process warranty and refund checks and prepare corporate checks for charge-off accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners.
  • Participate in departmental projects and support ongoing initiatives as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve account issues and ensure accurate follow-up.
