About The Position

Dow Credit Union is looking to hire a full-time Member Care Center/ Call Center Representative. The Member Care Center / Call Center Representative position starts at a competitive wage of $20/hour. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of customer service experience
Good computer and software aptitude
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work successfully with other team members
Tactful and respectful
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Positive attitude
Self-motivated and able to work independently

Responsibilities

Answer phones, chats, and other member inquiries.
Greet members in a courteous and professional manner and work to build a positive relationship with them throughout each interaction.
Answer questions and solve concerns with patience.
Perform troubleshooting, problem-solving, and maintenance of member accounts.
Assist members with basic banking tasks such as processing withdrawal requests, looking up account info, checking deposits, posting loan payments, making general ledger transactions, processing account transfers, preparing wires, and issuing official checks.
Educate members on all the products and services we offer, quoting current savings and consumer loan rates and terms.
Use a consultative approach to uncover needs and cross-sell financial products.
Adhere to all security practices.
Forward calls to the appropriate person when needed.
