Member Business Lending Officer - Macon, GA
About The Position
The Member Business Lending Officer develops new and existing business relationships and receives, reviews, and evaluates business loan and commercial deposit requests. The officer meets with applicants to explain credit policies and obtain loan information and documentation, monitors and reviews construction, assists with collecting past-due loans, and grows commercial deposits. The role serves borrowers and prospective borrowers promptly and professionally, provides general Credit Union information, cross-sells services, and assists Member Business Services personnel as needed. The candidate must have the analytical skills to review financial and collateral data and ensure compliance with loan policies and procedures. Team members work toward the common purpose of brightening the financial future of the communities served. The position is located in Macon, Georgia.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3–5 years of lending experience is required.
- Analytical skills to review financial and collateral data and ensure compliance with loan policies and procedures.
Nice To Haves
- Business lending experience is preferred.
- A background in commercial lending and real estate is preferred.
