About The Position

Membership Billing Representative is responsible for handling billing and collections processes for all Sanford Sports Wellness Center locations. Job Description This individual will be responsible for managing accounts, reconciliations, and reporting, as well as overseeing member accounts to prevent billing issues. The job involves ensuring accurate categorization and charges for new and existing members, tracking attrition, and collecting overdue accounts. A courteous, confidential approach to member interactions are essential, along with diligent follow-up. Membership Billing Representative will be responsible for maintaining and managing our Wellness Center software and computer systems for membership. Additionally, they will provide training on membership software (CSI Software) to both current and new staff, and management, when appropriate. This role requires proficiency in the Network File System (NFS) and the efficient operation of office equipment collaborate with external vendors to ensure optimal software functionality. Needs to be a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills for both internal teams and facility members. Excellence in managing membership and third-party reimbursement processes, addressing inquiries, and occasionally assisting members directly via in-person or over the phone. This role also involves collaborating with leaders, acting as a point of contact and interim supervisor in leadership's absence, and providing training and ongoing education to staff. This individual should be well-versed in billing practices and proficient in banking and accounting functions. This role requires self-direction, a high level of accountability with minimal supervision, and accurate attention to detail in data analysis. Required to demonstrate professionalism and courteousness in customer interactions, apply effective problem-solving techniques, and be adaptable to variable work schedules and assignments. Additionally, other duties may be assigned, including mentoring new staff.
