Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Good computer and calculator skills required
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with medical billing is desirable, especially with Medicare and Medicare HMO
Responsibilities
- Completes billing for different payer classes
- Maintains awareness of changing policies for each carrier
- Works with others in the department to lower accounts receivable days
- Researches all information to complete the billing process in a timely manner
