About The Position

The Center for Career & Professional Development (CCPD) at the University of South Florida (USF) is seeking a Mellon Program Specialist. This role supports the business and financial transactions for the Mellon Humanities Internship Program. Responsibilities include preparing documentation, issuing invoices to employers, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records for a grant. The specialist will also communicate with and assist students in the program, and collaborate with the Experiential Learning Coordinator and Assistant Director of Internship Development, as well as external employers.

Requirements

  • Support for the business and financial transactions associated with the facilitation of the Mellon Humanities Internship Program.
  • Preparing documentation and issuing invoices to employers.
  • Processing incoming payments.
  • Reconciling accounts.
  • Ensuring financial records for a grant are accurate and up to date.
  • Communicating professionally to employers and university to resolve billing issues and solicit payment in a timely manner.
