About The Position

The CNA/MedTech at Sagewood at Daybreak delivers quality care by encouraging residents’ independence and supporting their physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being. This is a part-time role with available shifts of 6 a.m.–2 p.m. or 10 p.m.–6 a.m.

Requirements

• High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a nursing assistant course.
• First Aid certification and CPR, if required.
• Meet state training requirements and/or certifications.
• Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) preferred.
• Bring a smile to work every day and be a great team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with simple requests as needed.
• Supervise or assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation, and other activities.
• Provide companionship and develop strong relationships with residents.
• Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures.
• Document care provided to residents consistently.
• Provide input to help ensure residents’ individual service plans are current.
• Regularly review the 24-hour report and care checklists.
