About The Position

The CNA/MedTech at Sagewood at Daybreak delivers quality care by encouraging resident independence and supporting each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being. This is a part-time role with available shifts from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The role includes assisting residents with requests and daily activities, providing companionship, responding to emergencies, documenting care, and helping keep individual service plans current. Employment offers are subject to successfully completing a drug screen, TB test, and background check.

Requirements

• Complete a nursing assistant course.
• Meet applicable state training requirements and/or certifications.
• Bring a positive attitude and be a strong team player.
• Successfully pass a drug screen, TB test, and background check as part of the pre-employment process.

Nice To Haves

• High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
• Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) preferred.
• First Aid certification and CPR, if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with simple requests as needed.
• Supervise or assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation, and other activities.
• Provide companionship and develop strong relationships with residents.
• Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures.
• Document care provided to residents consistently.
• Provide input to help ensure resident individual service plans are current.
• Regularly review the 24-hour report and care checklists.
