About The Position

Fox Isuzu Truck is hiring a full-time, onsite Medium Duty Technician in Farmington Hills, Michigan. This mid-level role is responsible for maintaining and repairing medium-duty commercial trucks so they remain reliable and road-ready. The technician diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and computer-related issues, performs repairs to factory standards, and completes preventive maintenance and component service. The role also includes documenting work, coordinating with the service and parts teams, and ensuring repairs meet safety and DOT standards. A typical day includes using Isuzu diagnostic software and shop equipment to identify faults; performing scheduled PMA, PMB, and PMC services such as oil changes, fluid exchanges, and filter replacements; completing deeper overhauls as needed; and conducting safety checks before trucks leave the service bay. The position offers annual pay of $50,000–$150,000 and benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k), life insurance, HSA, FSA, paid time off, and employee discounts. Requirements

2–5 years of medium-duty commercial truck experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Skill with computer-based diagnostics, multimeters, and schematics.
Ability to lift and work on your feet.

ASE certifications are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and computer-related concerns and complete repairs to factory standards.
