About The Position

Freedom Village at Brandywine is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician to provide care to assisted living and memory care residents. The role is part-time, scheduled from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and requires DHS certification and Medication Technician experience. The position involves supporting residents with mobility and personal care, responding appropriately to emergencies, and contributing positively as a member of the care team. Caregivers must complete Direct Care Competency training and provide a copy of their certificate at the time of hire.

Requirements

• Medication Technician experience is required.
• DHS certification is required.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid, including CPR.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Respectful and compassionate approach to care.
• Good time management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ethics.
• Physical endurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to create a warm, friendly, and caring first impression.

• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must complete Direct Care Competency training and provide a copy of the certificate at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ambulation and mobility.
