About The Position

Windsor Manor Grinnell is hiring a compassionate and dependable Medication Technician (Med Tech) / Medication Aide to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. The position is described as available full-time or part-time, with the posting specifically seeking a part-time second-shift team member. Paid Medication Aide/Med Tech training is provided, and certification is not required to apply. The role offers an opportunity to develop healthcare and senior-care experience while supporting residents’ daily well-being.

Requirements

• Be compassionate and enjoy working with seniors.

• Be detail-oriented and able to follow procedures.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Be willing to complete Medication Technician/Medication Aide training.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving, CNA, Med Tech, Medication Aide, or healthcare experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medication administration according to training, regulations, and community policies.
• Provide compassionate care and support to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition or behavior.
• Maintain accurate medication records and follow established procedures.
• Help provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Work alongside the senior living care team.
