About The Position

Ashley Manor is seeking a Caregiver / Medication Technician to support residents in its memory care community. The role provides compassionate assistance with daily routines and emotional well-being in a supportive, small-home environment, while helping residents feel safe, connected, and cared for. The community offers Swing Shift (2 p.m.–10 p.m.) and NOC Shift (10 p.m.–6 a.m.) schedules.

The caregiver assists residents with personal care, meals, medication routines, and meaningful activities. The role also includes monitoring residents’ well-being, maintaining a clean and safe living space, and keeping accurate records to support quality care. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old, or 17 with a CNA certificate in Idaho.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Be certified in First Aid and CPR.
• Be able to lift approximately 35 pounds.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have or obtain Certified in Medication Assistance within the first 45 days.
• Demonstrate respectful care that honors residents’ dignity.
• Communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality.
• Respond calmly and capably in emergencies.
• Show eagerness to grow, learn, and build genuine connections.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification.
• Cooking experience for groups.
• Prior caregiving experience in assisted living.
• Community service experience.
• Passion for enriching the lives of older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Serve meals and help residents with feeding as needed.
• Support residents’ medication routines and monitor their well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and cozy living space.
• Engage residents in meaningful, uplifting activities.
• Keep accurate records to ensure quality care.
