About The Position

The Mission at Agua Fria Senior Living Community is hiring Certified Caregivers and Med Techs to care for residents under the direction and supervision of the Assisted Living Director. Full-time and PRN positions are available, with schedules of 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Requirements

Must be a Certified Medication Aide in the State of Arizona.
A high school diploma, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a senior living community is a plus.

Responsibilities

Take and record vital signs.
Measure and record residents’ height and weight.
Calculate and record fluid intake and output.
Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report them to a supervisor.
Assist residents as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
Transfer, position, and turn residents.
Provide skin care.
Contribute to residents’ assessments and plans of care.
Provide nursing rehabilitation and restorative nursing services.
Care for residents with dementia.
Follow the schedule of residents’ needs established by the supervisor.
Provide emotional and social support to residents.
Promote and protect resident rights; support informed decision-making, dignity, respect, personal belongings, independent expression, choice, and decision-making; report suspected abuse or neglect; and avoid physical restraints in accordance with professional standards and applicable law and regulation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
