Medication Technician Personal Assistant Full-time 2p-10 weekends required
About The Position
QSL Management is seeking a Medication Technician for The Barclay at Clemson. The role supports residents by administering and managing medications accurately and professionally in accordance with The Blake standards and state regulations. The Medication Technician also monitors and reports changes in residents’ health and status, documents daily progress, and helps with dining and resident activities as needed. The position is full-time, scheduled 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and requires weekend work. Requirements
- Caring heart and willingness to serve others.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Medication Technician license issued by the state.
- Flexibility and readiness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Experience working with older adults preferred.
Responsibilities
- Report changes in residents’ health and status.
- Complete daily data sheets to record residents’ progress.
- Provide medication management accurately and professionally according to The Blake standards and state regulations.
- Explain medication dosage and pharmacology when needed.
- Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
- Assist with dining as needed or as directed by the leadership team.
- Assist with activities that keep residents engaged and happy.
