About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Medication Technician for The Barclay at Clemson. The role supports residents in a senior living community by providing accurate medication management, monitoring and documenting resident health, and helping residents remain engaged and comfortable. The position is full-time, scheduled 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and requires weekend work. Team members may also need to work a variety of shifts, including holidays.

Requirements

• Caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current state-issued Medication Technician license.
• Flexibility and readiness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Report changes in residents’ health and status and complete daily data sheets to record progress.
• Provide medication management accurately and professionally in accordance with The Blake standards and state regulations.
• Explain medication dosage and pharmacology when needed.
• Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
• Assist with dining as needed or as directed by the leadership team.
• Assist with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
