About The Position

Inspired Living is hiring a Medication Tech for its Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch senior living community in Bradenton, Florida. The role supports residents in living safely, comfortably, and with dignity by providing medication management and personal care according to service plans and physician orders. The Medication Tech works with residents, families, medical professionals, and the care team to support exceptional resident care and maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of caregiving or similar experience.
State-required HHA certification or CNA license.
Ability to accurately read physician orders and match them to MARs.
Working knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
A genuine passion for caring for older adults.
Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to doing things the right way.

Nice To Haves

At least 6 months of supervisory experience in a health-related field is preferred/required.

Responsibilities

Provide medication management and personal care according to each resident's service plan and physician orders.
Safely administer medications and accurately follow the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
Observe and communicate changes in residents' conditions to appropriate clinical team members, families, and medical professionals.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with medication, care, HIPAA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with other Medication Techs and care team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
Assist with meals, including serving, clearing, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment.
Support and provide direction to team members during assigned shifts, as appropriate.
Maintain required state certifications, training, and ongoing education.
Follow quality improvement standards and help identify opportunities to improve resident care and services.
Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents and teammates.
