This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing various aspects of the community's facilities. Key duties include performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on systems such as HVAC, elevators, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, and kitchen equipment. The position also involves general maintenance projects, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and equipment repair. Additionally, the Medication Tech responds to resident maintenance requests, repairs and prepares vacated rooms, and ensures the upkeep of common areas. This role requires maintaining positive communication with local authorities and inspectors, assessing and correcting plumbing and electrical issues, and adhering to legal codes and safety guidelines. The position also involves documenting safety issues, reviewing safety data sheets, assessing property damage, and responding to community emergencies.
