The role also involves documenting any known drug allergies and reactions, which may require collaboration with family, physician offices, nursing homes, or retail pharmacies. The position requires effective communication, advanced interviewing skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, and advanced computer skills for information gathering and documentation. Adherence to all laws and regulations pertaining to patient health, safety, and medical information is essential.
