About The Position

Ascension is seeking a Medication Assistance Coordinator to join their Administration department. This is a full-time, remote position with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 8 A.M. - 4 P.M. The role involves preparing and disseminating criteria for obtaining free prescription medications, communicating with pharmaceutical companies for approvals, processing paperwork, maintaining computerized records, and reconciling Medicaid and third-party insurance payments. Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy preferred.
  • Pharmacy experience required with basic knowledge of Medications.

  • Community health & SDOH background Preferred.

Responsibilities
