About The Position
CountryHouse Lincoln II, an Agemark Senior Living community, is seeking a full-time Medication Aide for the evening shift. This role involves providing compassionate and dependable care to residents, administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and fostering a safe and supportive environment. The position is based in Lincoln, NE.
Requirements
- Current Medication Aide certification as required by the state.
- Compassionate, dependable, and attentive to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for medication documentation.
- Ability to work the scheduled evening shift, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely administer medications according to physician orders and resident care plans.
- Accurately document medication administration and maintain required records.
- Observe residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns to nursing staff.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
- Build positive relationships with residents and your fellow team members.
- Help create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.
