Requirements

Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification (or equivalent as required by state regulations).
Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional care.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Basic computer skills for medication documentation.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in senior living or caregiving is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely administer medications according to physician orders and residents' individualized care plans.
Accurately document medication administration and maintain medication records.
Monitor residents for changes in condition, medication side effects, or concerns and promptly report them to the nursing team.
Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence, and comfort.
Build trusting relationships with residents and provide compassionate, person-centered care.
Help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging community for everyone.
